the sunday post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blogs for the week ahead.

I just wanted to thank you for all the birthday wishes, they just made my day. It’s been a pretty good week. We have had a first hard freeze this week and broke records for the low temp at night. We woke up to an icey wonderland for a yard, at least this week we be back up in the low 60′s for the high. I welcome them, I am not ready for the really cold temps yet. I got some reading done, and got some goodies that I am really excited for.

It sounds like you had a good week. The books you got all have great looking covers! We had a hard frost, too. That kind of surprised me and I may have brought some plants in a little late. :( We’re getting the 60+ degree weather this next week, too. I must admit I like the cooler weather. I’m ready for sweaters and crisp mornings!

    Have a great week.

I hope you had a great birthday! It’s getting a bit colder here too, but we also had some warmer days last week. I hope you enjoy the books you got this week!

What an incredible haul! Servants of the Storm looks CREEPY! I’m going to have to check it out and I’ll look forward to your review.

So glad you had a great bday – happy belated :-) And man, that’s some serious weather for October! I’m glad it’s warmed up a bit – I’m a Texan who like her heat so when I see those kinds of temps, I just want to hide in my house under a warm blanket…

Dang girl!!! I love ALL the books you got!!! I got Servants of the Storm, too (it was last week so I didn’t list it). I really can’t wait to read that one, am I right or what?!?!?!

I am freezing my tail off up here in Michigan – I’m waking up to frost most mornings and I keep jacking up the heat to 70 in the house – tee hee.

    Have a great week!!!

    THE SOUND!!! :D
I’ve been waiting for simon/pulse to accept my request :P
Reality Boy has been going around quite a bit so I hope you enjoy it! :)
Servants of the Storm sounds pretty exciting as well!
Great Haul and Happy Reading Jenea! :)

  6. Vilia

Ooh, I recognise that Kim Cleary cover – Angela Campbell has the same background for “Something Wicked”.

Those are really low temps…brrr. It got down to 24 degrees celsius (I think that is about 70 in fahrenheit) earlier this week and I was pulling out the jumpers.

Aaagh, I’m so jealous, you already got Servants of the Storm! I’m really curious about this book but of course I won’t get an ARC because I’m from Europe :(. Path Unchosen sounds good and I was thinking about signing up for bog tour, but I have so many other books to read. I’m looking forward to your reviews! Thanks for stopping by my Sunday Post :) Enjoy your new books!
