the sunday post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blogs for the week ahead.

This has been one busy week. We picked our new rescue dog after being neutered on Monday. He is a 4 year old Dachshund, who came from an abusive/neglective home, so he will need a lot of love and attention for a while and a lot of food. Our Chihuahua doesn’t really like him right now, so she stays away from him but our Blue-heeler seems to like him. They even curl up together on the couch. We learned that our truck has to go in the shop for a few days, which sucks. But we had a great Thanksgiving, and ate entirely too much. And I got some new goodies too.

Aww, I bet your new pup is happy to have a loving home…especially once he figures out how well he’s going to be treated. I’m glad you enjoyed your holiday and I hope your truck is fixed soon!
I can’t wait to read Her Dark Curiosity and I love the cover of Neverwas. I’ve never seen a book with three authors before!

He’s seem to be adjusting pretty well so far. :) I love the cover of Neverwas too, so pretty.

We are hoping so too, both of the kids love him and he is a good dog. Thanks for stopping by.

You got some great books this week! And your new dog is so adorable! I bought the I am Just Junco omnibus when it was released and hope to read it soon, I am a big fan of JA Huss her other books and this is the only series by her I haven’t started yet.

It is fantastic that you rescued a dog that needed a loving home. So many awesome animals get stuck in shelters while people go for the cute little puppies or kittens.
