The Sunday Post #9

Posted by Jenea in Just Talking / 10 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

This week was a pretty good one till yesterday. My water heater started flowing water out of the top on my basement floor. So no hot water. My daughter hasn’t felt good all week. She felt better on Saturday, so we went to the library and she was ecstatic that she check out more than 2 books now on her library card. She got quite a few to say the least. She’s a happy girl. My husband survived his first week on day shift and my son has been outside majority of the week.I think he might sleep out there if we didn’t have coyotes. I got some reading done this week.  I finished Dark Frost, Endlessly and Amber House. I participated in Waiting on Wednesday, and What’s Next meme’s. This week on the blog, there were a few reviews for Endlessly by Kiersten White, Underworld by Meg Cabot and Until I Die by Amy Plum. Monday there was a cover reveal and giveaway for Unloved by Jennifer Snyder. Right now I am reading Pushing The Limits by Katy McGarry and Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton . I got some goodies this week from Amazon. Really need to stay away from there. Lol. This week I will be posting review for If I Stay/Where She Went by Gayle Forman, Fever by Lauren DeStefano and Pushing The Limits. Hope you’ll check back this week.

From the Library:

Blood On The Moon by Jennifer Knight

Dancegirl by Carol Tanzman

From NetGalley:

Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire

From Amazon:

Her Sweetest Downfall by Rebecca Hamilton

Blood of Anteros by Georgia Cates

Ladle Rat Rotten Hut by Cameron Jace

Hopefully next week will a little less exciting at my house. I hope y’all have a great week.

Happy Reading…

Oh, I’m sorry to hear about the water heater, and I’m glad that your daughter is feeling better. I love Amazon, especially when I find some really cool freebies :) I’m definitely going to look out for your upcoming reviews. Have a lovely week!

Ugh — I had a huge leak under my bathroom sink last week. But you had it worse, because no hot water = no shower :( Hope you get that sorted out soon!

Hope you enjoy all your books!

Sounds like you had a hectic week. I hope your water heater gets fixed and your daughter feels better soon. I added Dancergirl to my goodreads. It sounds like a good cautionary tale to posting things on youtube lol. Thanks for stopping by today!
