The Sunday Post #15

Posted by Jenea in Just Talking / 21 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I had a great week. Celebrated Labor Day with everybody home from work and school. It was really nice..  My brothers surgery went great and doing well. Next week, my oldest (grown) daughter is having some test done. We are keeping our fingers crossed that everything will be okay. No matter how big they get, you can’t help but worry about them.

Blog wise it was good too. I finished reading Shadow and Bone, Sweet Shadows and Magisterium. And started a few more. I have a physical book, and ebook and audio book going on at the same time. I posted a few reviews. I also had a cover reveal on Tuesday for Reaper’s Novice. I participated in What’s Next and Waiting on Wednesday. This upcoming week I have a couple cover reveals and reviews to post for Shadow and Bone, The Raven Boys and The Demon Catchers of Milan. I rec’vd a few goodies this week too. There are still a few days left in the giveaway for Dark Summer.

How was everyone’s week?

I’ll be curious to see what you think of Raven Boys. I feel like I’ve been hearing mixed reviews on that. I can’t get into audio books, I wish I could so I would have a third way to “read”. Nice haul, lots of nice covers.

You got a ton of books!! I haven’t heard of Megan Curd’s books so I’m going to check them out. Gossamer has me curious just on the cover love… I’ll have to watch out for what you think on that one!!

Can’t wait to see what you have to say about Shadow and Bone! I have that one on my shelf waiting for me. Have a great week!! My Sunday Post/Clock Rewinder
