The Sunday Post #33

Posted by Jenea in Just Talking, The Sunday Post / 21 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blogs for the week ahead.

It is so hard to believe that is almost the middle of January. We have had no snow since Christmas, it is even going to be almost 70 degrees today. This has been the strangest winter since we moved here.  On the blog is was a fun week. Next week will be fairly busy. I pushed back my review for A Shimmer of Angels to this coming week, I still hadn’t received a book that I needed for a tour this week, but I got and finished it and posted it instead.

I got quite a bit of read done. I finished The Pledge and The Essence by Kimberly Derting, Breaking Point by Kristen Simmons, Dance of Shadows by Yelena Black and The Spindlers by Lauren Oliver. So, this week I have the review for A Shimmer of Angels, Breaking Point and Ashes of Twilight. A cover reveal and a few meme’s. I received a few goodies throughout the week too.

You had a busy week. Lots of good books there. I agree about the weather. We’re having 50 degree weather and no sign of snow here. Not that I’m complaining :) Have a great week!

The weather here has been the same…I went outside yesterday expecting cold only to be met with a 75 degree temperature. So strange. I’m a bit worried that it’s going to be a really rough summer now…Anyway! You have quite the book haul this week, so many great looking books!

Sounds like you had the same problem with The Essence that I did. I was supposed to review it for January 2 and it showed up last Wendesday so I hurried and read it and got my review up for the last day of the tour. I just got a suprise copy of Level 2 so I am off to read your review. Hey enjoy 70 degrees that sounds fantastic to me.

Awesome books this week! Seriously can’t wait for your reviews, especially on Doomed and Origin. I wanted to pick those up but I’ve yet to read a review that convinced me. Happy Reading! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
