The Sunday Post #35

Posted by Jenea in Just Talking, The Sunday Post / 25 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blogs for the week ahead.

This has been another crazy week weather wise at our house. Instead of getting snow like the weather people said, we had an ice storm. I have never seen so much ice, we had an inch on our steps and sidewalk. I miss the snow, at lease the kids can play in it. :) The kids just like it because they get a snow day and a 3 day weekend.

Blogwise, this week was great. I didn’t get as much reading done as I would like to have, but there’s always this week. I finished Oxford Whispers by Marion Croslydon, A Dark Grave by J.A. Souders, and Notes From Ghost Town by Kate Ellison. I am almost finished with Pivot Point by Kassie West, and started Death, Doom and Detention and Poison. I got some more review books, and made a trip to Barnes & Noble. I had some restrain and only bought 2 books. Yay me!! I can’t wait to read them.

Here’s what went on this week:

Monday: Early Review for Hysteria by Megan Miranda

Tuesday: Blog Tour Stop: Review and Giveaway for Reaper’s Novice (Soul Collector) by Cecilia Robert

ooh great books this week girl! I can’t wait to see what you think of Shadowlands. I’m working on my sunday post right now. (I have to go through my emails to figure out what review books I got though. I am the worst kind of procrastinist) haha

Hope you had a great weekend Jenea!

Great books this week. I read The Farm. The premise was amazing, but I did have some issues. Love Mara Dyer. I have the second book here waiting to be read. Enjoy your reading time.

We were supposed to get an ice storm here…but it never showed up, not that I’m complaining. it’s supposed to be here Wednesday as well…we’ll see. I just downloaded Oxford Whispers earlier today. So jealous of Deep Betrayal. I hope you enjoy your week!

The ice storm sounds awful. That can be worse than snow, not that I like either one. Take care!

    Hysteria sounds really good!

    Have a great week!

I’ve got The Evolution of Mara Dyer sitting on my shelf, borrowed it from the library weeks ago, but haven’t had a chance to read it. I’m so hoping to get to it this week.

    Happy Reading!

Shadowlands was so good! I loved that one a lot and I can’t wait to see where Brian takes the series in the next one. I also have The Farm and I want to read it so bad but I haven’t been able to get to it yet. Great haul!
